When a person dies: Do you believe in an After Life? [Spirituality & Religion]

In Heaven / Hell (Biblical heaven and hell), or do you believe that once we die that, that's it we just lay in the ground and lay all inside of the dirt and worms etc. crawling all over us, or do you believe in reincarnation only, etc.

Consciousness, self awareness, thought, emotion... they all appear to be dependent on functions in the brain. No, I don't have any reason to believe there is anything after death. That sounds like a contradiction even.
