They hated me. Dad was uber Mormon and I had to go to church twice a week, along with the occasional camping trip. I had realized I was an atheist and became super bitter about having to go to these events

Anyway.. every time a leader or one of the teachers turned around I ran out the door. I'd hike in the woods alone, explore the streets at night, or on Sundays I'd go to a park

I didn't have a "mentor" but I was extremely resentful towards all the leaders in the church

@IntenseCookie NO U. And I hope you aren't getting too pressured by the church. A family friend of ours had to go to SLC to get formally removed or something because they wouldn't leave her the fuck alone.
