Angels take an interest in the affairs of men. [Spirituality & Religion]
Angels have been and will forever be involved and interested in what is happening in the lives of human beings.
"Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come." (Daniel 10:14,)
"Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God, even over one sinner who repents." (Luke 15:10,)
However, angels are not to be worshipped nor prayed to. They are not God, and do have their limitations. They are not all-knowing, all-powerful, nor present everywhere. They can only be in one place at a time. Nor do they have the wisdom or intelligence of God.
Whenever angels are mistaken for God by humans and worshipped, they are told not to do this.
"And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren, who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” (Revelation 19:10.)
And finally, angels will join all believers in the heavenly kingdom. Hebrews 12:22-23 Angels are a separate creation of God, therefore, we will never be angels, nor will angels be men. However, we shall have beautiful glorified, perfect bodies, in heaven. Our entire person will be remade flawless, wholly and completely Christ-like. We will lose all trace of human fallenness, wearing the white robes of purity, holiness and absolute perfection.
As believers, I imagine our first glimpse of heaven will cause us to gasp with amazement and delight. That first gasp, will likely be followed by many more, as we continually encounter new sights in that endlessly wonderful place.
