June 1st, 1968 was an extremely happy day for Helen Keller. [Spirituality & Religion]

It was then, she was carried to heaven by the angels, where for only the second time in her life, since age 2, she beheld light and then Jesus, her Savior.

I'm certain she was speechless to see God in all His glory, and Heaven!! I can envision the many tears of joy, as they spilled down her cheeks, safe in the arms of Jesus. I can hear Him say, "Welcome home, my beloved Helen!! Well done, my good and faithful follower!"

Helen knew Jesus as her personal Savior. One of Helen Keller's favorite books was the Bible, and she learned to love Jesus through her reading of it.

“Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room, I shall be able to see.” (Helen Keller)
