Another thing just for interest. [Spirituality & Religion]
This is something I learned from my Rastafarian weed dealer last Saturday.
I gave him a lift to the spot where he was to do his busking for the day. He plays a guitar outside a local coffee shop for tips.
He was wearing a long white coat instead of his usual green, yellow and red Rasta clothing. I commented that he looked like a doctor with dreadlocks.
With a grin he told me that he was showing humility by wearing white on a Saturday. That's because Rastas consider Friday night to Saturday night to be the sabbath on which they should not work at all.
So by wearing white he was basically saying something like, "Sorry God but I find it necessary to work on the sabbath despite your instructions."
馃檪 Anyway...I'm not religious but I still found it to be interesting.
