How is Jesus different than any religion on earth? [Spirituality & Religion]

❤️ Because it is the only faith that does not require anything of you to reach God, but just to love Jesus. Because he did it all. All other religions work for heaven, not Christianity.

❤️Jesus is the most loving and He teaches us to be loving by his own example.
He laid down his life for his enemies. Why does he do that? It is crazy love, because we don't deserve it. Why? because He loves the world.

❤️Many people call themselves Christian, but Jesus says. "These are those who love me, those who keep my commands to love God, and treat others as you would want to be treated." The GOLDEN RULE. He says "love your enemies, and pray for those who despitefully use you."

I love you, and I am praying for you that you will have all your prayers answered. Jesus says Go into all the world and tell others the good news.

"I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me." 🤗

"For God so loved the world, that He sent his only begotten son that who so ever believe on Him shall not die, but have everlasting life".

Jesus also said judge not lest ye be judged and let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Yet when it comes to many matters like abortion or homosexuality Christians very openly judge them. Perhaps the Christians should practice what they preach
Aidan · 26-30
There’s explicit rules in scripture about homosexuality there’s kind of no rebuttal there.

As for abortion not much is said. Historically in biblical times if a wife was unfaithful and became pregnant the church might abort it. @WeighedDown
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Aidan yet God created homosexuals and if man is created in God's image than don't that make god a little gay. And don't even get me started on the Catholic Church it seems men of faith are some very evil men indeed Catholic priests molest little boys. The priests only needs to ask and they get forgiveness and the boys live with the pain and shame and the guilt forever, Christians should really practice what they preach for the snakes are in the church
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown I agree, I personally would not have an abortion or sleep with a woman, or anyone I am not married to, but I will not dictate how others should live. Jesus forgives all sin. I am a sinner and my sins have been forgiven. So will yours!🤗

@Carazaa I see you talkin about how reliable the Bible is I'm just wondering are you aware of how many books were removed from the Bible? Books like The Testament of Solomon, the secret Gospel of Mark, The Book of Enoch just to name a few
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown No, they were not added, not removed.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
The Vatican church, or the Roman Catholic church, has a long history of corruption and deception. Aside from literally committing acts of outright genocide several centuries ago against the Cathars, to sexually abusing children in more modern times, it is certainly one of the most corrupt organizations in history.

In the year 1611 the Bible was translated from Latin into English. Back then the Bible contained a total of 80 books and the last 14 books, which today have been excluded, made up the end of the Old Testament and were as follows:

1 Esdras
2 Esdras
Tobit
Judith
The rest of Esther
The Wisdom of Solomon
Ecclesiasticus
Baruch with the epistle Jeremiah
The Songs of the 3 Holy children
The history of Susana
bel and the dragon
The prayer for Manasses
1 Maccabees
2 Maccabees
In 1684 all of these books were removed from all versions except for a 1611 edition, which was the very first edition translated into English.

In this first edition you will also actually find that Jesus’ name is spelled IESUS and pronounced Yahashua. So why then does everyone continue to call him Jesus, when the letter J was not even being used at the time?

One of these books that is particularly interesting, is the “Wisdom of Solomon”. For those who don’t know Solomon is one of the most legendary characters from the Bible. He was the son of David and is alleged to be the wisest man that has ever lived. He is painted largely as a benevolent figure. But what you read in this book will make you question everything you were told to believe about him.

Observe the following excerpt;

Wisdom of Solomon 2:1-24

1 For the ungodly said reasoning with them selves, but not aright, our life is short and tedious and in death of a man there is no remedy: neither was there any man known to have returned from the grave.

2 For we are born at all adventure: and we shall be hereafter as though we had never been: for the breath of our nostrils is as smoke, and the little spark in the moving of our heart

3 Which being extinguished, our body shall be turned into ashes, and our spirit shall vanish as the soft air,

4 And our name shall be forgotten in time, and no man shall have our works in remembrance, and our life shall pass away as the trace of a cloud, and shall be dispersed as a mist, that is driven away, with the beams of the sun, and overcome with the heat thereof.

5 For our time is very shadow that passeth away; and after our end there is no returning: for it is fast sealed, so that no man cometh again.

6 Come on there for let us enjoy the good things that are present: and let us speedily use the creatures like as in youth.

7 Let us fill ourselves with costly wine and ointments: and let no flower of the Spring pass by us.

8 Let us crown ourselves with rosebuds, before they be withered:

9 Let none of us go without his part of our voluptuousness: let us leave tokens of our joyfulness in every place: for this is our portion and our lot is this.

10 Let us oppress the poor righteous man, let us not spare the widow, nor reverence the ancient gray hairs of the aged. @Carazaa
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown Well I have not been raised in any church, I just read my Bible. It is all I had to learn about God. So when I hear about the Catholic ways I think it is Satanic. It is not anything I read in my Bible.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa if your Bible is the only way you know God then you don't know God. Blind Faith in a book that has been edited for Centuries by man is very dangerous God wants you to question the Bible. It's the only way you will ever know God the book misleads you, and the truth shall remain hidden from you like an Easter egg from a child.
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown God changed my heart when I was 7 years old because I asked for wisdom. I am born again and can tell truth from a lie and I have not been deceived by Satan who deceives the whole world to believe a lie. I love God and I love all people, and I pray for those who despitefully use me.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa so you can tell a lie that's 2000 years old just by looking at it? Let me ask you this is a cross not a Graven image? Did Jesus not speak out against money being exchanged in the church? Both those things are common and there are a whole lot of inconsistencies in that book.
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown A cross is not a graven image unless we worship it like kissing it and bowing down to it instead of God. God wants us to tithe because the church costs money to run like the lights, the salaries of the secretary, the custodians, the painters, pastor and all the repairs and missions etc. And if we are tithing God promises to bless us besides. I wrote a post about the miracles that God did when I started tithing how he answered all my prayers.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa god does not need us to worship him in the house we built for him when, we can worship him in the house he built for us. The cross is worshiped if you can't see this it's because you don't want to
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown I believe many worship crosses, churches, money, sports, and other idles. That is why the protestant movement happened. I am a protestant born again Christian, who worship only Jesus.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa Yet you call him Jesus and not his real name..

Jesus' name in Hebrew was “Yeshua” which translates to English as Joshua. So if we look to John 14:13-14 New International Version (NIV)
13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
how do you expect to get these blessings when you are using the wrong name?
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@WeighedDown there is no evidence that Jesus said that. The verse you’re talking about comes from John chapter 8. That part of the book was not in the original. It was added by one of the people who copied the Bible.
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown Jesus has answer my prayers, and he has blessed me. We are blessed when we are born again. It is what Jesus did on the cross that matters.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Bandit2398 there is no evidence that Jesus said anything, there is no evidence that Jesus was anything more than a man.
Bandit2398 · 51-55, M
@WeighedDown I don’t even think there is a lot of evidence that he even exisisted. But he probably did. But still that part of the Bible was just added by one of the copiers
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Bandit2398 many other parts were removed.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa Muslims say the same about their god as the Hindus say about their gods, Satan is the name given to Lucifer for giving mankind knowledge, knowledge god did not want man to have.
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown There were witnesses so I fon't agree at all.
Carazaa · F
@Bandit2398 I don't agree!
Carazaa · F
@WeighedDown Nope, Jesus taught the Golden rule to mankind, and He is God in the flesh and the only way to be saved because no one else but God died for your sins.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa Jesus may have died for your sins but not for mine. I do not see Jesus as the son of god.
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@Carazaa they have witnesses as well, but witness testimony from 2,000 years ago that had been tweaked and edited to fit whatever culture was gonna be using it is far from credible
