My Journey [Spirituality & Religion]

Since the past 17 years I've been on a very spiritual journey . It's been very tough but well worth it. My spiritual beliefs changed a lot on the way what I was choosing to be God .
When I was 17 I ended up in severe pain with my soul after getting hurt very badly
When I was 21 I ended up loosing my mind and for the next 3 years if there was a hell , I've been there with my mind and soul . I couldn't function properly , suicide was always an option and that was in my brain for 3 years constantly .
When I was 24 I ended up in rehab centre and that changed my life completely . They used to practice meditation and after about the 3rd night with soul became pure again cause those last 3 years I couldn't sleep , very little appetite and a racing mind . My whole body was rock solid with tension . I used to be walking the streets all hours in the morning not caring who I'd bump into .
Then I started to believe in God what I choose to be God and from then until now life has been much easier .
From 24 to 38 I've through a lot worse in my life and being honest it didnt knock me for 6 cause I realized that I'm not running my life and being honest I know that I'm going to a better place .
I find this place is only a test for the next one , and to live on a spiritual life is the beginning of where the battles begin especially with the mind and thoughts that I'm talking about cause I find with thoughts that tells you where your mind is pure or not . The biggest battles are temptations that's what I think the test is .
God is there, always loves you, and shall never abandon you. He Is the Light that shines through our darkest hours. When you don’t know where to look for help, always look up. He’s always waiting right there for you. What looks like our end, is where God starts our new beginning.

Are you talking about living on in another “plane” of existence after you die? From re-reading your account, I get the impression you may be talking about spiritualism, which is not the same as a relationship with Jesus.
I have a question. You said you started to believe in a God that you chose. That is, a god of your choosing. I thought was an interesting description. That makes me wonder what god did you choose to worship?

I'm sure that the closer you draw to God, the closer He will draw to you. Well done on breaking free from the dark place.

@EnjoyingLife what do mean continue to walk God in what way . Do you mean the 10 commandments
She means to continue your relationship with Him. Never leave Him. Talk to Him often, as He is your closest and best Friend, pray to Him, praise Him, keep Him always in your heart and mind. Consult Him for every need in your life. Always let Him come first in your life, and you’ll never go wrong. Read His Word and allow Him to guide you in thought, Word, and deed. You can never go wrong with Jesus. If you keep your heart and mind on Jesus, He will keep you in perfect peace. @MakeAspirit
