There Is Nothing You Can Do To Make Jesus Stop Loving You [Spirituality & Religion]

When Jesus stretched out His arms and died, He was showing us how very much He loves us and to what extent He would go, to prove it. His love travels as far to the east, as it does to the west, as far as one could ever go...never ending.

Don’t confuse God’s perspective of love and hate. When we sin, God does not hate US. He hates when we SIN... because it separates us from Him. There is no sin that can overpower ot outweigh God’s love for us. You can lie, you can steal, you can turn your back on Him, like those who crucified Him…and what does He require of you?

To love Him.

What a life changing thought.

Just look at Paul, one of Jesus’s disciples. He was a murderer. He had hundreds of Christians killed and their blood on his hands, but did Jesus turn him away? No. He loved him in spite of his sins. Same with us. Jesus loves us IN SPITE of our sins. His love never stops for us. His love is not based on our performance. That is important to remember.

Some will take that as our having a license to sin, but clearly, God will not be mocked. Make no mistake about that. It is foolishness to view it that way.

The fact is, Jesus made a way for us to escape hell, and the sin that brings judgment upon us. God is fair....SIN is not, and brings condemnation upon our soul...but God is also love, and because of His great love for us, He took our sins upon Himself at the cross. Christ volunteered to pay the judgment of our sins in full, so that we don't have to face hell. What a great Savior! Paul writes, "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by His blood, much more shall we be saved by Him." (Romans 5:8–9).
