Are you trying to control a situation, that you really have no control over? [Spirituality & Religion]

I used to be so bad about that. As if God needed MY help. Right. 😂 I’m never one to give up. I’ll do it or die, very stubbornly, but let me tell you....you can struggle all you want, but that never works. All that does is mentally drain you to the point you won’t know how much longer you can take it.

You’ll get so sick of numbing reality out. That’s not the way it works. Nor even how it is supposed to work. That’s not living life to its fullest and best. You would think just the opposite, but I learned that when I stop struggling so hard and hand it over to God, it happens just the opposite of my struggling to force things to happen. It all works out! That’s because we must first lose the fear of making a mistake, and get this.... I certainly don’t know, nor can I SEE into my future, the outcome of my decisions, but I sure know who does, and who better to trust, than in a person who has these abilities...none other than Jesus, Himself?!! You really can’t mess that up, when you ask for His help. It is HE that knows you better than you know yourself, and exactly WHAT you need. No guess work! You don’t need to figure it out on your own, anymore. Isn’t that wonderful?!! That’s good news!

God never promised it’d be easy. Whoever said that, lied...but today, realize that you don’t have to do it alone. God will (I can vouch for that) carry you and give you the strength and wisdom to pull through, if you will just let Him. If you’ve trusted Him, he’s never left your side, You just forgot he was there. God works in mysterious ways. I’ve witnessed it before. If you’ve fallen by the side, away from God, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get right back on your feet. You’re good to go and good as ever.

Your struggle won’t have a fixed outcome, I’ll tell you that right now. It depends on you, if you yield to Jesus and trust Him, and not everyone has the same exact set of circumstances...but if you’re willing to let go and let God work on your behalf to accomplish whatever His will is for your life, trust Him...He’s a man of His Word....He’ll get you through, you cannot go wrong, because He knows exactly what you need. Know that no matter what happens, you won’t have to carry the burden, or go through things alone. I can testify....He gives you the strength to get through whatever it is! You no longer have to try to understand something, that you may never understand...but God knows and understands. He knows just what to do, and the best way to handle things.

He’s not going to solve every problem you have. Why would He?? He never promised that, and He’s wise enough to know that if He DID, you’d never learn a thing. That would defeat the whole purpose of the lesson. So be grateful when you learn the lesson. Next time you won’t repeat the same mistake, and you’ve learned patience, understanding, perseverance, appreciation...a whole basket full of things. You now have tools you can work with. That’s wisdom He’s taught you. When you know better, you do better. It’s a way better way to live.
Footprints in the sand...

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
@EugenieLaBorgia Yes, that has always been a favorite of many. Thanks for bringing it to the front again. ❤

I've tried to do that before and the harder I tried, the more frustrated and stressed out I became. But when I let it go and put it in God's hands, I received piece about the situation.
@SW-User Me too. God’s ways are not our ways. He knows so much better than I ever could. That’s really something how He does that. I thank you so much for this lovely testimony.
