If there is a Hell, do u believe some people deserve to go there ? [Spirituality & Religion]

Simple question. Think about Hitler. Think about people who kill children. People who kill for no reason at all. Think about people who steal fortunes from others hard work. Think about those who ruin other peoples lives because they hate their own. Do you believe that some people deserve to burn in Hell. ☺

God doesn’t send good people to Hell. In order to consider ourselves “good”, we typically have to overlook much of what we think about, and a lot of what we have done. Conversely, God doesn’t send good people to Heaven, either. “Good” is simply not “good enough” in light of Heaven’s perfection and God's standards. A loving God rescues creatures who are imperfect, by offering us the free gift of forgiveness (Romans 6:23). When we accept this offer, we become “positionally” perfect (Hebrews 10:14) by clothing ourselves in the perfection of Jesus.

I believe it isn't up to me to say if someone should go to hell, but I do believe in hell..Something I ponder is this ,though...Many terrible things happened to me , as a child, at the hands of other people...The bible tells us we have to forgive those that hurt us and through 25 years of therapy I have forgiven everyone that hurt me, even though, the damage done to me affected my whole life...I not only forgave, but came to see my abusers in the light of love, seeing them as fragile human beings with their own problems...Now if I had been unable to do this, I think it might be me that went to hell..I don't know if anyone else thinks like me or not, but this is something I think about sometimes..

@SW-User Deborah, God understands it takes time to heal. You're an angel. There are only two things that keep a person out of heaven: Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and sins that one has not asked Jesus to forgive, as sin separates us from God. I'm so sorry you had such a hard life. God bless you.

@SW-User I have also been through much therapy and am able to love those who have hurt me. They truly were sick and broken people and treated me as they had been treated. Since I have have have under gone much healing, I do look at the world from a more loving place. 💜

I don't believe there is a hell or heaven. I DO truly believe that anyone who does evil things suffers for it, pays for it every minute of their lives. A person who behaves that way cannot ever know happiness, joy, love, inner peace or anything good. They are poisoned.

@Butterflykisses24 That's the key, yes. Giving them to him and committing our lives to Christ. Some want the gift of eternal life, but are unwilling to make the commitment.

@Butterflykisses24 Whoa. I never said you didn't. This was not a personal attack. I'm wanting some to know that Jesus said you cannot get into heaven on belief alone. Even the devil believes, but he's not going to heaven. They were wrong to judge you. I'm sorry this happened to you.

It is a hard judgment call. Only God knows the whole story. That is why Christians (and sometimes others) are told we must leave vengeance up to God.

Hitler was a product of his environment and pretty much turned it into a hell for millions of others and himself. That was the hell he got.
