Do you think landline wall jacks are necessary today?
We’re repainting a bedroom and I told my wife we should remove it and cover the hole. We haven’t used a landline in almost 7 years.![]()

I did the same thing. Mine was surface mounted with wiring all along the floor molding. Looks nice and clean now.
