I Love My Dog More Than Most People

My dog is Joey, I rarely tell people he's my dog.. Because his name is Joey, people assume he's a child and I let them.. I would choose him over every single person in my life. He's mine.. My baby.. People don't get it.. He's the one thing in my life I haven't messed up on....

I found out a few months ago that he needs to have surgery on a few tumors... He just turned 6 on thanksgiving... It breaks my heart. I just want him to be with me forever.. I don't care if he's just a dog to people.. He's my baby, my life. Just venting :)
