Do you call everyone you disagree with "fascist"?

Do you even know what that word means?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
It means an authoritarian nationalist dictator, like Mussolini. Nazism was/is different though related because it is explicitly racist whereas fascism is sometimes not.

I will maintain that other figures like Trump and Le Pen are on the same authoritarian nationalist spectrum without being fascists.

People seem to use it in place of "authoritative." If they were using it as a metaphor, just trying to stress they share this one particular characteristic with fascists, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world since that is one of the defining characteristics of them . However, I don't think most people are trying to use it that way. I think they actually believe that fascist is synonymous with authoritative.
No, only when it fits the way of thinking.

I call people who are ignorant in a field of my expertise and yet argumentative and arrogant about a related piece of information.... I forgot what I wanted to say.

I've never used that word to describe anyone if you can believe it

No that would be pointless. Too many like to use words like fascist and racist whenever they disagree with someone.
