The answer would give me an idea if this is an issue over which people just want to shout at each other, preach to the choir and roll with the confirmation bias, or if discussing the issue might actually change people's way of thinking.
I'm sure there has been some effect. Probably not as much as Krakatoa. The climate has been changing since the beginning. The religion of 'Alarmism' disgusts me though. It's pure chicanery and a political means to an end People have been mesmerized to believe it's 'environmental awareness' but the heart of this religion is simple power lust and greed.
@windinhishair:
@windinhishair: It is the alt left propaganda machine that has been caught red handed lying, looping, and editing. I like to refer to reality on things. I know the difference between piss and rain.

@puck61: And even knowing the difference, that you chose piss and will never consider rain under any circumstances is amazing.

@puck61: Get out and enjoy some nice summer weather today. Have a great day.

It's a small piece of a wider issue. The man-made aspect of climate change is simply in that it's speeding along a pre-existing cycle.

The climate change will happen regardless of what we do, but we could either slow it down or speed it up. We're very much speeding it up and not preparing for the next big shift into an ice age, which isn't a good thing. I don't think it's a settled issue and that it definitely needs more study, but you also can't just blanket deny that the climate on Earth changes and that our society would have a real fucking hard time dealing with the opposite end of Earth's temperature gradient when it flips due to albedo.

You need not go any further than Obama's "clean water" act to know what the global warming/climate change cult is all about. It is about the "death" of common sense and the end of American sovereignty. This nonsense has nothing to do with saving the planet or helping the environment.

This fraud is all about putting the total power and control in the hands of technocrats who have extreme ideological mind sets. These creatures are looking to destroy humanity and replace most of us with machines. I hope we wake up to this fact that this global tyranny is being facilitated right before our eyes to see.

When a federal government can tell a farmer to stop farming because there is a puddle of water on his land, you know this has nothing to do with saving the earth but rather destroying the US middle class and our way of life...

@LesDeplorable: I have, and I am wide awake. You are part of the denial industry and don't accept the premise of scientific investigation.

@LesDeplorable: It is raining here. I'm going to head to the grocery store. Using your approach to global climate change, if I deny that it is raining because the people who say so are paid to come to that conclusion, then the sky will be clear and I won't get wet.

Life is so much easier as a denier.

I should have made bets that 100% of comments would have been on climate change, and not the open-mindedness therein. I could have really cleaned up
