do you support open border?

do you support open border policy which allows anyone to come and work and contribute to the economy and even live with some little effort? the only restriction is those who migrate to the country are heavily subjected to background check with a small fee.

and must first speak the host countrys language get in no trouble at all and require no state or federal assistance
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
I'd have no objection to that.
As long as they understood the rule of law and expected standards of behaviour.

@Picklebobble2: that's the real issue, none understand the rule of law or they wouldn't have entered the country.

We do under certain conditions.

i would support open borders. we are a nation of immigrants. to stop that would be against what we stand for. just read the plaque on the statue of liberty
No. Not at all. And those who have overstayed their Visa's need to go. There should be a penalty for that. That is. one that is enforceable an enforced.

A country needs the ability to secure it's border in case of emergencies. Like France did last year.

those who say no no should watch day after tomorrow movie where it shows how americans are trying to illegally cross the mexico border to get there in order protect themselves from cold. so you should understand people immigrate to different countries due to various reason, not because they want to genocide white race or rape women like trump accuses.
Niburu · 51-55, M
@Arrow: Trump has not made any such accusations. What was said is that we have no idea who is coming across the border.
It has unfortunately been proven some of those people are indeed murders and rapists.
Again how many, what percentage of them are?
Nobody knows because no one is accounting for these people.

We have opened our country to such immigration since its inception. I wouldn't require the small fee; why not set up a community service or community network program toward which they can donate some time?

No, No, and No.
Yes on the last bit.
