Is the Catholic Church afraid that Qanon can take over the church?

Is there a rising tide of misinformation and Christian nationalism gripping Evangelical congregations in the United States. Are the members of these Church's prone to conspiracies and creating enemies, making the Republican Party first before Christianity? Has the Church become a tax free voting block ripe for a take over by a group like Qanon?

There is a split in many and probably most Evangelical churches between ypthoae willing to make trump the foundation of their faith, and the sane people. The absolutism of Q fits perfectly for a lot.
And I agree churches can be as political as they want, just pay taxes.

But the Catholic Church is not part of this. We have our own problems.

The Catholic Church has well over 1 Billion adherent worldwide and a LOT of them not in the USA, QAnon, maybe has maybe 10-20 Million at best, I doubt the Catholic Church is worried about QAnon, not even a tiny blip on their radar.
seems like a logical step religion is a sham anyways!
@SarawithouttheH A group of gullible people with money in their pockets.

No.. While individual members are certainly easy pickings, the Evangelical preachers are actually in competition for members and particularly their donations. If it were to happen I see deep conflict there with the Q people being named heretics and antichrist.
@whowasthatmaskedman All about the money. The Church won't let that money slip through their fingers.
