I'm so sick of this faux rebuttal too.

@Mel Bel there is a direct parallel between the opioid addiction crisis with whites today and the crack epidemic of the 80s and 90s. Why has the language concerning prosecution changed? There is but one factor i see that caused a shift in thinking. Now that the problem has grown whiter, it was not even center stage on the election platform and people are dropping in larger number.

@Kurt L at 35 years of age how the fuck was I supposed to be there advocating mercy and cuttting down on sentences in the 80s and 90s? I was a 13 year old kid in 1999 Kurt , and honestly I've opposed the damn drug war most my adolescent life and now my adult life. One of the few things that hasn't changed is that I'm still aware the whole thing is a terrible fucking idea.
The Shift in thinking has NOT Been caused FOR ME because the problem grew whiter as I WASN'T EVEN AROUND when the problem was blacker to be objecting in the first place and WERE I there I would have been.
