They found that chauvin guy guilty

On all charges!
Seems strange to me that it was all 3.

One of them I get, unless he killed him 3 times it sounds like legal fuckery to me. In this state they'll charge you like that but you can only be convicted of one of the charges not all so it gives the jury options... MN law is strange.

Either way it's meaningless. The appeals are going to be a shit show and probably go in his favor.

Yes very strange. For once the overly punitive justice system is used against a member of itself. I’m not sure how it will hash after this tho tbh. This was so high profile @Callmewhatyouwill
@NoahB yea. I'm just having trouble understanding how bout accidentally and intentionally kill someone at the same time. 🤷‍♂️

I get the stacked charges but 3 homicide convictions for the same death is just a head scratcher.

I’d have to say this verdict should be challenged in a miss trial especially when you consider the brain child Maxine Waters’s comments. I’m tired of this bullshit but going after the officer is low hanging fruit go after those who put bad policies in place and let bad cops keep their power and job. How about that for a change?

@NoahB let’s be honest here not every officer involved shooting is unjustified or every individual who died in police custody is due to officer misconduct. Was this situation poorly handled by the officers and everything yes did George floid have excessive amounts of toxic drugs in his system absolutely. I’m not saying that we should over look abusive officers be it police or elected officers by any means. I’m just saying the officers are the easiest individuals to go after going after the individuals who put shitty policies in place is the best and only way to have changes that would really make a difference. Not just have government say yea that guy fucked up so we Will charge him and here’s some hush money at tax payers expense.

@Ozuye502 I mean the cop that killed George had a documented history of being overly violent on duty. 18 complaints filed against him. But I do agree. This certainly isn’t enough to keep the cops in line. Top to bottom the systems not well
Ozuye502 · 36-40, M
@NoahB you know I know a cop who had a formal complaint against him because his mirrored sun glasses made him look too intimidating on traffic stops. I’m not saying it’s ok for a cop to use excessive force but sometimes something may look overly aggressive when it’s really not and I’m in agreement that the system has some major problems and issues. But sometimes those complaints are total bs I ride (motorcycles) with guys who are and retired law enforcement they all have had a complaint oh they put the cuffs on too tight oh they used unapproved methods to apprehend this guy I want an investigation. Or oh this officer called me a racial slur the report is filled out and honestly sometimes it’s total bs but the report stays on the file because it has to. So the 18 complaints in a veteran officer on the streets is kinda like eh maybe. I’d like to see those reports and the punitive actions from those reports. I’m saying we should look the policies and have a look into those who put bad policies in place that got people hurt and killed.

Oops Mad Max might have fucked the entire thing up herself. Boy, I'd hate see her discredited.
