@QuixoticSoul A lot of heads of state feel the same way. China will be able to get a better grip on Taiwan and The Sea of China. N Korea will be able to resume firing missiles over Japan. Iran will be able to contine with it's nucular arms build up and Russia will be in a better position to move deeper into the Ukraine. If anyone is uniseable it's Biden and Harris.

@thephoenix That's silliness - especially the bit about NK, since Kim was able to solidify and demonstrate his nuclear deterrent under Trump's watch. In general, Trump has moved us into a less assertive posture internationally, and dented the US-led international order that we spent a century assembling.

Putin has everything he needs in Ukraine already, there is a reason why that theater has been static since '15.

@PSuss1 That was always the plan, and Obama knew that would happen when we began that partnership. Kurds should have known too, it’s not even the first time we sell them out.

This side of the game is largely handled by professionals, and there are certain geopolitical imperatives. Nobody is going to let Kurds have a state. Whichever actor lends them support is bound to withdraw it. This is the way.
