In denmark they have to cull all minks..
imagine it was cats or dogs instead they had to cull to prevent further spread...

The Danish government changed its mind, and they're not going to do it.
However, you realize why they have almost 16 Million minks in Denmark, right? They're raised in mink farms, not as domestic pets, but so they can be killed and their fur harvested for the fashion industry. We raise chicken pretty much the same way. Same with pigs, and cows, etc. The latter we use whole: meat and skin and bones to make Jello.
Cats and dogs are considered pets, unless you live in one of the countries, where they're used for food.
