Does anyone know someone who is being affected by the 'protests' in Portland?

Some of the things I'm seeing on the news makes me so angry that they are doing this.

Yes, and now that they are spreading out into the neighborhoods could be a lot worse real soon

A ton of people are affected. Seem as if most of them don't live in Portland, but are nonetheless outraged.

Some criminals are taking advantage of he situation to wreak havoc, but that includes the federal troops Trump sent to prove he's the man.

@Northwest people with the same opinion as you are why he didn't do it straight away. Left it to the state governments to sort it, offered help but left them to it. How long has it been going on? How people killed, hurt, harrased, businesses looted. You're right trump doesn't need to do anything, the governors have it all under control smh

Holy crap. I wrote the Constitution? Honestly I had no idea.

Does it need a deadline? Has the situation leading to the protests changed? On the contrary and the Feds presence is inflaming the situation and encouraging the criminal element to step in.
How people killed
None by the protesters.
hurt
Quite a few, mostly at the hands of police.
businesses looted
This happened at one point by the criminal elements not the mostly peaceful protesters.
the governors have it all under control
For the most part, they do have it control. The most volatile element is the guy who said he's not a politician, but is now behaving like a dictator, sending federal troops to inflame the situation and give criminals and anarchists an excuse, and reducing the effective of the city's mayor.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Has your condition been diagnosed? You should get some rest.

I live in the Seattle area, and just like Portland, it seems as if a lot of people around the country are concerned about the outrageous situation, but it turns out we're fine.

As a strict conservative, I will NEVER be against "protests" but I will also not dignify the mob violence by saying they are protests. They are mob rule lawlessness. Why can't the liberal media make this distinction?

Nobody I know in Portland has been affected. Shit's remarkably contained.
This is very disturbing!!
