The US voters are morons.

Rage at me all you want, but the previous elections had over a thousand people vote for Harambe, an already dead gorilla.

This is a decision to choose who represents the country and people treat it like a joke.

Correct. However, in the interest of fairness, those thousand were almost entirely 18-21 age range. And there's a general belief that voting doesn't mean anything because the electoral college exists. Which is fair because in the 2016 election, Trump lost the vote, but still became president. So they aren't wrong. It's hard to take something seriously when you're painfully aware of how little it matters. That's the number one reason given by people who don't vote at all.

@MasterLee Eh. If you consider ignoring the will of the people, disregarding democracy, and appointing a dictator that has almost single-handedly destroyed the nation to be "saving the republic" then I guess I agree. I mean, it's literally the plot of Star Wars episode 3.
