Republicans typically respond to fear, hatred, and loathing more than Democrats do, so their commercials generally are based on fear and what might happen if their white guy isn't elected. Democrats tend to focus on the positives their candidates could achieve, but that is like dead air space to Republicans. It doesn't even register when there is something to fear or hate.

Well, they're speaking to different audiences. Democrats tend to be aspirational. Republicans peddle in fear. Which is why the Lincoln Project adds targeting Trump are so effective. They swim in those waters and understand what resonates.

@QuixoticSoul I looked in to the organization behind it. They don't have the power hitters that the Lincoln Project does but they seem to be more focused on the "everyman." I think the push coming from Conservatives might actually move the dial. It's hard for some to wake up when all they hear from friends and family is "Us vs. Them." These groups are letting them know there's something bigger at play.
