Is absolute monarchy preferable to democracy?

MrMonnyPenny · 22-25, M
Some things to consider: democratic leaders serve limited terms and leave the state to what may be their political rivals. This means as temporary caretakers of the state they will be more likely to support economic policies that are good in the short run which they can profit from whilst leaving the state in a mess for the next leader.

The monarch sees the state as their own private property and has a vested interest in increasing the value of it over time and also passes it down to their heir.

Also warfare under monarchy is seen as a private affair in which the monarch hires their own mercenaries and civilians are left out. Whereas, democracies have a history of conscripting citizens as cannon fodder
