It's a good example of hypocrisy for sure but I also think Trump goes which ever way will earn him popularity points at the time. I also wonder if Trump was only saying that because Obama was president.

Trump went on about Obama's birth certificate. So he could have been one of the ones during that time period that thought about "Muslim" invasions and only hopped on the pro immigration train when it suited his narrative to do so. Usually because Muslims, communists, LGBT people or "liberals" are one of the main conspiracies that's been going on since at least 2007 😂

Trump isn't the first president to abuse executive action.

But this is a bit different in that he's declaring a "national emergency."
