The RNC going after Adm. William McRaven is a new low.

An entire political party attacking the man who organized the Bin Laden raid. There is no sewer these people won't go.

They went after John Kerry, because his Vietnam injuries were not severe enough. This was the neocon crew, that avoid service in Vietnam. They went after McCain, because he was caught. They're now going after McRaven. No honor.

@Northwest You know my views. All politicians are corrupt. Its the nature of the beast. But those Republican leaders are a mix of Jackals feeding off Americas corpse and vampires sucking its hard working people dry.
Kerry, now has taken it on himself to go to Iran. Why? Patch up his bosses' deal that Trump scuttled. And Kerry for his position in our Gov't should have thought twice about his throwing medals away. But hey that's Kerry.@Northwest

I’m sure, in your mind, your comment was somehow related to what I said. In reality it isn’t.

Oh, it's all honor, respect, and support the vets....until they're inconvenient. Everyone is like this. You think you're going to get some basic respect, but only if you coddle their fragile little egos.

Every time I think the RNC has sunk to a new low they keep proving me wrong

@ReneeT Good point -- how am I still shocked.

Just look at this as part of a pattern of behaviour. Now ask yourself if this is the America our service-people signed up to protect?
Military personnel are frequently the pawns in geopolitical/military situations, and regardless of the political Administration at the time, it's really easy to make a Commander and/or his cadre the scapegoats.
Agree 100%-This business of the Presidency IS NOT a REALITY show where after an hour, the lights are dimmed and the stage is empty. It's the real world.@SW-User

@soar2newhighs I suppose we allow the parents to determine how the memory of their son will be "used," but I understand your point. (They weren't attacking the son, and neither did Trump in that instance). That being said, I don't like how civilians are used at conventions or the State of the Union speeches. The speech is not required, and I'd love for a President to stop giving them.
That'd take away their "15 minutes of fame"!@SW-User

I tried researching what this is about and the only sources I found were pure news sources like CNN and Fox, which are full of BS.

Why is that surprising?

Trump has discovered that bin Laden was a Saudi.
