To the world: We're sorry. Love, the US
Speaking in triumphal terms, Trump approached the U.N. address as an annual report to the world on his country's progress since his inauguration. He crowed that in "less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country...We reject the ideology of globalism and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism."

"As far as America is concerned, the ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy and no authority," he said. The U.S. is boycotting the Human Rights Council, arguing it overlooks abuses by some and serves as a venue for anti-American and anti-Israeli action.

Rather than applaud or indicate they were impressed, the audience began to chuckle and some broke into outright laughter. Trump appeared briefly flustered before joking that it was not the reaction he expected but "that's all right."
To those who keep defending Trump as beloved throughout the world, laughter does not equal respect. Just thought you should know.

He's delusional beyond belief. But, he's the poster boy, for the part of the American public, that wants us to take us back, to a point in our history, when we were a "white" nation, in control of most of the world's trade, military power, education, etc.

The "Wall", to him, and the wave that brought him to power, is the physical manifestation of what they want to do for America: built a wall around us, with gates, through which we ship stuff out, and they send money back to us, as well people to serve us, and go back when we don't need their services.

Inside our walls, we will live undisturbed, speak English, and eat burgers, and BBQ, only.

Perhaps in time, we will also re-classify the whites, and segregate them into Anglos, and others.

No one said it was.

I'll believe in my world view, just as much as you believe in yours.

We are the world's laughing stock right now. And justifiably so. Hopefully most nations can separate our government from the people who live in the US, and realize that most of us do not support the white supremacist and America Only takeover.

@windinhishair Everyone's basically sitting around and waiting for this to be over.

@SW-User It is like watching a dumpster fire and waiting or it to burn out.
He’s such a buffoon ! To those who still don’t get that he’s made the U.S. a laughingstock, nothing like literal proof.😑

@bijouxbroussard Remember the campaign, when he said that the world is laughing at us?
@Northwest Yes, I do. It probably wasn’t true then, but it is one thing he’s made happen. Just about the only thing he can take credit for.

@bijouxbroussard He kind of reminds me of Hugo Chavez actually

You can almost see him calling for the video of the audience taking the names of those who laughed. Its easy to see this as just another act of Trump. But the sad truth is, even back in the Obamas day, no UN representatives would have had the temerity to laugh opening when the US spoke.

if he expected to be taken seriously he should have found someone to write him a rational speech
Northwest · M
@lorne13 This speech has Stephen Miller, written all over it.

@Northwest Well, when you're the son of Nosferatu, I guess you have run of the place.
