Death threats? Where did you see those? The only thing I saw, was a report on Fox, claiming the guy is getting death threats. When I click on the article, I did not see any death threats. A couple of comments, wished a bear would maul him, on his next hunt, which I assume what Fox means by death threats.
He did make it sound as if he's killing the bear, to protect defenseless Moose, just a couple of tweets, following a picture of himself, proudly posting, with a Moose he just killed.
But, I guess you should actually check these stories out for yourself.

I never understand this argument. Who cares if he broke a law? The people threatening him aren't doing it because they think they are acting on behalf of the legal system.

Not at all, but I would like to hear about his hunt and admire his trophy. Bears are big critters that can eat you, so harvesting one ethically and humanely is a big challenge. Which Im sure he met.

When I first read it, Ithouvht it said "hugging". I was like, "Hugging a bear? That's not the kind of guy you need to threaten. It's either impossibe to do, or unnecessary."

I've shot bears. No big deal. The darn things were endangering my life and livelihood.

@hippyjoe1955 Funny, you seemed to have been in their space.

@Graylight I grew up on a ranch in bear country. If a bear became aggressive or killed our livestock I would find the bear and shoot it. It is called survival. Something twits like you know nothing about.

@hippyjoe1955 You don't know the first thing about me, Joe.
It's called 'coexistance.' Look it up in that Bible of yours sometime.

Of course not, but unless he eats bear meat, you have to wonder what pleasure comes from taking the life of another creature. That's purely my opinion.

As long as he is ok with being hunted by bears as well it's fine

Was it Yogi the bear?

Sounds like the nutbag left is at it again. No, I don't issue death threats. I sometimes think it but that's my business.
