Seems to me we should hear the testimony and cross examination and based on the factual determination then ask that question.
@jackjjackson if the GOP will ever let it happen...

That is what is going to happen according to the New York Times. I trust you would agree if the NYT published that it’s accurate?
Senator Charles E. Grassley, Republican of Iowa and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Monday that he was working on a plan for the committee to hear from her and Judge Kavanaugh.

”Anyone who comes forward as Dr. Ford has deserves to be heard, so I will continue working on a way to hear her out in an appropriate, precedented and respectful manner,” Mr. Grassley said.

“Unfortunately, committee Republicans have only known this person’s identity from news reports for less than 24 hours and known about her allegations for less than a week,” Mr. Grassley said. “Senator Feinstein, on the other hand, has had this information for many weeks and deprived her colleagues of the information necessary to do our jobs.”

Mr. Trump criticized Democrats for failing to raise the allegation earlier, saying, “it’s very unfortunate they didn’t mention it sooner.”

“They’ll go through a process and hear everybody out,” Mr. Trump said of members of the Senate. “I think it’s important. I believe they think it’s important.
@jackjjackson well, they delayed the vote this week. Guess you were right.

What do you think about Dr Ford’s latest move? @GohantheThird
@jackjjackson I call it Karma for McConnell's bullshit back when Garland was up for the seat. This whole thing has been a circus and honestly it'll be better if he's not appointed whether he did it or not. Gorsuch never had this much crap behind him.
