Why would Elizabeth Warren be a good President?

Or why would she make a bad one?
Graylight · 51-55, F Best Comment
I think she'd be direct, honest and dedicated. My worry is that while she's brilliant in the financial field, she may be lacking in geopolitical and international affairs. Still, I'd take honest, direct and authentic but needing a learning curve over what we have any day of the week.

@jackjjackson How is she so dishonest again? Yeah, I only wish a UPenn law professor was intelligent enough to run a country.

Dishonest enough to make a deal with Mrs Clinton. @Graylight

Interesting story. In rereading my responses in this thread I don’t understand your reasoning. Please walk me through it. @Graylight
Graylight · 51-55, F
@jackjjackson Not enough time in the world, but I encourage you to read multiple threads you've helped create.

The past is the past. Here is my analysis of your logic pattern

If it’s positive regarding the president it must be bad or wrong
If it’s negative regarding the president it’s not negative enough @Graylight

A quick look at her voting record shows her to have a strong preference for the left. I believe she would be good for civil liberties and human rights but she may have trouble dealing with issues related to military usage and finding support with organizations like the NRA. Any president that surrounds themselves with a good team of professionals and not syncopates, and has the ability to listen to his/her advisors can be great.
@Msp940 thx very much for ur insightful response!
Msp940 · 41-45, M
@Shewolfiie69 I've found that as I get older I lean more to the left. However, after the most polarized election I've seen between Clinton and Trump I recommend someone more in the middle vs another extreme democrat or republican.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
It’s time for her generation to no longer be president let’s have someone in her fifties

She is unlikable

Whether it’s too far right or too far left it’s time for someone middle right or middle left that a higher percentage of the population relates to
@jackjjackson For once!!!❤️ I agree with you!!! Sorry if I came off wrong to u!

@jackjjackson @jackjjackson yer talkin’ an adamant middle of the roader
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Thanks for the kind words. All of us should be able to exchange views reasonably and be able to listen. @plusdevins @Shewolfiie69

Another extreme leftist who will grow the size of government. She'll promise (free) stuff with no way to pay for it.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@GunSmoke9
Free healthcare, education. Those are just for starters.
Oh? Where might that be (Bear in mind I'm English and have some experience of the UK health and education systems...)

continue...
HerKing · 61-69, M
@GunSmoke9 Still waiting for you to explain how those things are 'free' and don't have a quid pro quo aspect...

In your own time.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@HerKing I never said those things are free. It's what Elizabeth Warren and others on the left are saying.
Prisoner69 · 26-30, M
She's as good as chopping my balls off
@Prisoner69 I really don’t think she’s into circumcising anyone...?! Lol!
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
She'd make a bad president if her party can't control congress, and she'd make a good president if her party could control it. The party system is really why we simply can't have a good president right now. We're too divisive.
@Turtlepower You make a very strong & noteworthy point!!! Thx!

We definitely need to remove the testosterone and replace it with estrogen. I think Elizabeth will be eaten alive but I would vote for her. I just hope more women throw their hats in the ring this time...it's WAAAAY overdo!

It's only America. Anyone not totally crazy will do.
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
@SW-User Sorry. We're fresh out of those. :(
@SW-User u may ba right but..wouldn’t u rather it be someone that has a track record of reliability?
SW-User
@Shewolfiie69 All you guys can rely on is getting a liar or a swindler. I imagine it's the same everywhere.
SW-User
She'd be as good for democrats as someone like Mike Pence would be for republicans. Personally I'd like to see a middle of the road candidate surface but they'd never get the backing to even make a serious run. John Kasich already tried.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SW-User I liked John Kasich a lot until I learned of his platform where women's rights and health issues were concerned. Put him right out of the running for me.
Fernie · F
@Graylightyep! he's dead to me now...disappointing
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Nikki Haley would be an excellent choice. @SW-User
plusdevins · M
Not. She makes my teeth itch!
