What do you think of the tax reform bill?

Corporations and billionaires are rejoicing. The stock market will get a boost and your 401k will look good but for most working class Americans it'll be more work for less benefit..

You mean the one that cuts company taxes that they don't pay anyway?

Like a lot of long not completely understood or even read we are not going to know for awhile. Plus the bureaucrats in the swamp will be adding regulations affecting this unknown. So far we are all simply reacting to bits and pieces of opines and speculation sbout the unknown. Remember the good old days when George Bush simply have us all receive a tax refund check across the board? I think I understood that.

It's not a final bill yet so I will reserve my opinion until it's final and I find out exactly what's in it. But I like the doubling of individual exemptions and I'm ok with doubling the child tax credit. and i like lowering the tax rate and reducing the rate on investment income.

Doesn't sound great. I don't know everything that's in it, but a lot of things are worrying. Like scrapping the write-off for medical expenses, and making tuition waivers taxable. I think when they said they wanted to close loopholes, people thought they meant exploitations in the tax code, not the popular write offs and exemptions that are meant to be there.

Next is cutting social programs to pay for the deficit. America became a very odd place in 2017.

Oh damn, it's gonna be hard to fall asleep now....
