They say music is a universal language.

I have a passion for music. Many people do-- or at least have an appreciation for it or a favorite song or two. If we can appreciate and enjoy music, and allow ourselves to explore both new and old songs and genres, why can’t we take the same approach with politics? Welcome, listen, immerse, explore, absorb, understand, respect and appreciate. What can we do to begin to blur the lines in politics as we do with our tastes and preferences in music? It’s not a black and white world. There's such beauty in gray.

@SW-User Very true, math is universal, but it doesn't carry the subjectivity of music-- or politics.

BTW, I'm suffering through and wrapping up a budget and would love for you to take it and make it go away! 😓

Some are political even in their choices of music. A lot of it has to do with one's worldview.

@bijouxbroussard Agreed. But in places when we're involuntarily exposed to music (a mall, a park, an event, any public place) we hear music and can sometimes be surprised ourselves as to how we like a specific song, sound, rhythm, beat or a meaningful lyric that resonates.
