If your family has no food, how long do you hold out until you start committing illegal/immoral crimes in order to feed them?

The world health org says the limit for most is 2 weeks..

that long? I'd start committing illegal crimes within 2-3 days unless there was a concrete expectation of relief. And I'm not sure there are any immoral crimes when it comes to feeding your family: maybe stealing from someone else equally in trouble.

@firefall 2 weeks is when adults start forming/joining gangs and or terrorist groups in those situations...

@Notmesam sure, at that point independant action is clearly not working, so communal action is required. You call them gangs, I call them society.
