I Admire Honesty And Sincerity

The hard lesson in life is that the trust of somebody is a hard thing to win, but an easy thing to lose.

If I lose trust in somebody, I put them on probation to show that I am prepared to trust them again when they proved trustworthy, but I never give up on somebody; everybody at least deserves that consideration.

I had one friend it took him three attempts before I finally trusted him again, but I never gave up on him.

So true... I didn’t think about that. I was just thinking that everything that is wrong in this world starts with a lie... even the so called white lie. When there is no trust, there is suspicions and where there is suspicions there is fear. Nothing good comes from fear. Nothing.

@Writer Your right, except something can come from fear: defensiveness, antagonism and conflict.

True. If I could change anything in the world, it would be to teach honesty in schools. Honor and truth has to be a part of education.

@Writer I agree with you there. Sadly such concepts are lost to education these days.

The real beauty of that sort of code is that people can be excluded from groups or societies for failures, but re-admitted on proving they have re-earned it. These days nobody understands it needs a place has to be earned.

Also sadly if, like so many do these days, we do not allow a hope of re-entry to a group/societies to be earned, you risk building up a potential dangerous opposition with nothing to lose that could cause havoc.
