Can you become allergic to your pet over time?

It's my understanding that allergies can develop at any time.

A couple of things that may help ... put a capful or two of olive oil on your cat or dog's food - dogs like it, I guess cats might too. Rub a dab of olive oil on your hands and rub it into their coats - and try to brush them daily - that will cut down on dander.

Exposure creates allergies and apparently exposure removes them 🤷🏾‍♀️

Sometimes i think i am allergic to my pets but i suffer anyway cause i love them

Unfortunately, it’s possible, since one can develop allergies at any point.
