I Hate Racism and Discrimination

“Are you upset that we have a racist president? No, we replaced him with Trump!” A lot of Republicans say this or act like it’s the truth, but how warped do you have to be to be able to believe that? It’s not racist to tell brown people to go back to from where they came, but it is racist (against whites) to say that police should not be shooting unarmed men? Go figure. My dad said it’s an illness.

Trump did not simply tell them to go back.

"and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how you did it."

The media always leaves off the last sentence. He isn't telling "brown people" to go back because he doesn't want them here. He is specifically referring in this tweet to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who came to the United States as a refugee from the violence in Somalia. Rep. Omar has criticized not only Trump, but America and the American people in general. You can agree or disagree with Trump or Omar, but the media is portraying this as Trump simply telling people to go back where they came from, and that's disingenuous.

@Ironhand If he’s referring specifically to Rep. Omar, then why does he say (emphasis mine), “Why don’t [i]they[/i] go back...”? And how has Omar “criticized America” and the American people? Even if she has, well God forbid anyone criticize American people, Lord knows they [i]never[/i] do anything wrong!

And of course this is the [i]only[/i] questionably racist thing Trump has said or done since becoming president. Yeah, it’s obvious now that Obama’s a racist and Trump isn’t. My bad.

The context of what he said wasn't race related, it was context specific towards one person.

On another note I found the Baltimore comment reaction very strange, he pointed out problems that have been going on as early as 1999 and Bernie Sanders pointed out the same thing but didn't get the same flak. People said it was "racist" because he said "infestation" (referring to the rat problem and crime), now if someone says infestation and they think of race that seems pretty racist to me.

I don't even like him but this was mostly all bs.
