I Like Quotes and Sayings
I WISH I could remember what book I read something like this in. Perhaps it was an earlyish Jack Reacher book. Anywho, here it is, perhaps slightly paraphrased.
Could you imagine the outrage that would have ensued if 25 or so years ago, some law and order senator, in the interest of maintaining law and order proposed a law saying everybody has to wear a tracker around their neck? Now a days, people not only voluntarily carry around with them something by which their ever move can be tracked, but they pay ALOT of money for the latest and greatest one. But it's not marketed as a tracker, it's called a Smart phone.
I recently reread the book and something like the above lines is in the Jack Reacher book, "A Wanted Man".
