I Am Interested In the Paranormal
I believe that paranormal shows on television have damaged true paranormal research. These shows make it very difficult for people to take it serious.

100% yes, and not just them but many popular "paranormal experts" also cause damage. A lot of so-called "experts" in the field are also a bunch of frauds, which makes it so even those that look beyond just the media will find a bunch of BS and then dismiss the paranormal all together, ignoring the fact that this stuff is real, not even bothering to read government documents from when the CIA and other agencies investigated this stuff (which probably is still ongoing), not bothering to read from more credible sources, etc.

Do you even realize how ridiculous this sounds?
It sounds like some conspiracy BS. Supernatural entities don't really tend to act in this manner, at least, not anymore.
