So Over The Moon

Still in a little shock over yesterday.....

Yesterday was my birthday, Yup, 51 years old now. As with most people in this Covid time, communication with family has been limited to videocalls, texts and other media types...and [i]thank goodness[/i] for them!

So.....I have been away from my eldest daughter, and her family, that live around 100 miles or so away.....

After a lovely Saturday out with my friends and my wife to celebrate my birthday, the plan was with my wife and youngest daughter to have a lovely meal out together...

Kaz had booked everything....so....imagine my confusion and then shock when they wouldn't seat up for a little while...and then my daughter, hubby and their 4 children turned up!

I was in tears! Martika was in tears!

We had a fantastic few hours together - laughing, joking, being lairy....then back to our house so all the kids could play together....the first time in around 10 months.....before they had to say their goodbye's and head off home...

The best present I think that I could have had....

I had the best time..
