Is it dumb to buy kids sizes when your a teen?

I'm a little person so I don't fit in teen sizes an I always get put in littler kids clothes my mom let me pick them out alot but sometimes I don't wanna go even so she picks it out then is it dumb I'm in little kid clothes?

if you can't fit the teen sizes then no? I don't think it's dumb at all, plus I think kids clothes are cheaper anyway
