Where does one draw the line between abuse and discipline?

If it's producing more damage than being a lesson.

You abuse her body and discipline her mind

It becomes abuse when it no longer concerns the need of two consenting adults, instead based on cruelty & sadistic tendencies

When you enjoy it.

Never hit my daughter but discipline through sanctions.

Abuse is when it's not about the child but the parent deriving pleasure from it.
If it would get you jailed doing it to a stranger, you shouldn’t be doing it to a child.

Well if you are so obsessed with “ disciplining” your children that you come to SW and add hundreds of groups and write stories and seek chats all about supposedly punishing your children then it is clear to outsiders your interest isn’t in raising a child to be a good adult. I think discipline done during anger is a bad call and if there’s any pleasure derived from it then there’s again something wrong.
