Is it selfish to put most my family on blocked contacts?

I've been told it's selfish and that I'm just doing it to seek attention 🤨

I just don't care about family issues anymore. I don't want to hear about my brothers messy relationship problems, i don't want to hear who is pregnant again, I just don't want to hear about family gossip! They act like there's always a dramatic problem. I get stabbed in the back and I just dust it off. No need to make it someone else's problem
