Christmas for a 7.5 year old

My friends daughter from the last question. Her parents are thinking about what to do for her for Christmas. Here are the options they’ve come up with.
Go ahead and give her Santa gifts ( hopefully she’ll change her mind on Santa )
Coal
Only mom and dad gifts
No gifts at all ( she will get from family friends and adoptive grandparents.)
Make her donate her gifts to goodwill or another kind of organization.
What are your thoughts

if the parents are truly trying to teach the child the meaning of christmas . giving and good will towards others , they shouldnt use christmas as a tool of meanness. first give the child the presents she was intended to receive, and keep the meaning of christmas intact in the childs mind. then if she has done something that needs reprimanding they can explain to her that that certain presents she received will not be allowed to be used for a specific amount of time they determine to be fair ,, as a punishment for what she did. punishments for a young child should be done in a loving and meaningful way as a teaching lesson,, not as a means to scar a childs perspective on what should stay a meaningful holiday.

@fireandice69 last year she barely got anything from her parents but got lots from others . It worked her behavior is 90 percent better!
Just give her gifts. She is a little child and it’s Christmas. Show some love

I know but they want the behavior to stop and if they give her gifts she will keep acting like this maybe . @smalltowngirl
