And inside I am like " Wooooohoooo!!! That's right! Stay away from boys!!! "

On the outside I'm like "Well I am glad you can feel open to talk to me about it and no matter what others may think, you have my support"

At 12 she might yet change her mind but it is better she can talk frankly,living closeted probably is a really bad thing for kids.

you seem like a really good father to be so understanding. Its not always easy for some children to talk to their parents so openly

@Cutiepi23 Thanks... I think it starts with parents talking openly about things with the kids first and thus the kids feel open enough to talk as well. I could be wrong though... Just my opinion.
