Honestly - it's contact solution. If you're paying more for it than in the pharmacy aisle, put the toy version back.
1 bottle Elmer's School Glue [glitter/glow the dark/or plain white and some food coloring drops]
1陆 TBSP baking soda in a bowl.
3 TBSP contact lens solution.
Mix and begin kneading with both hands. If sticky, add 录 TBSP contact lens solution.

@Starcrossed What does that come out as?
Sepia 路 36-40, F
@Starcrossed I am so not letting the kid do it. It's very wasteful. I rather gave her draw or play other games.
Starcrossed 路 41-45, F
@Sepia it will keep in a jar/ziplock bag for future play for a while. Tactile play with kinetic sand/ slime/ foam/ bubbles/ water is good for development both brain and motorskills. In ways drawing/games can't. It's not that messy when kids are given a limitation to only play at the table and help clean up their own mess when done. Even a toddler can put slime back in a jar and wipe down a table.
@Wol62 it just makes slime you can squish and stretch. TBH I kind of find it a good tactile stress reliever/ tool while I'm relaxing and thinking.
The glow version is pretty fun. I think my kids dad and I probably take it out and use it more than she does.

@Starcrossed Thanks for the reply, at that supermarket the kid I was fighting with (we were both kids) tried to empty it over my head!
Starcrossed 路 41-45, F
@Wol62 lmao... ruuude. Wtf parent of that kid!?!?
FTR it also somewhat easily washes out of hair. 2nd grader came home from neighbor's after an unsupervised experiment failure...馃ぃ
I laugh now. Let me tell you, knowing it was basically glue and salt in her hair - I was initially piiiiisssed.
