I Love Sports

regarding the new nike ad.
I don't wear nike, so I cannot boycott.
but I did put in an order to sell my nike stock.
just in case it goes down. we sell high, remember?
it is high now so it is a win.

So because an ex-professional football player gets hired by a shoe company to promote their product, you protest by selling off stock and/or burning their shoes. What happened to everyone has the right to work? If Nike wants to hire him, so what? If you destroy a pair of shoes that you paid your own hard earned money for, which you have the right to do, what are your proving? Nike has already got their money out of you.

@TimSummers ummmm i'm not protesting, I am preventing the loss of wealth. and I did so successfully.

@eatpraylove That is great but don't you think at some point Nike stock will come back up?
eatpraylove · 56-60, F
@TimSummers I don't care. it was up 27% for the year when I sold.
I win. what happens in the future doesn't matter to me now. now if it keeps going down more, to a point I think is smart to buy back in, I may consider it. but for now I am very happy with my gains.

@eatpraylove Smart move! Good luck. I hope it tanks and you buy lots more then goes way up!
