Interesting question! A rather varied bunch. No popular music though. I rarely listen to it and I don’t find it memorable. Folk songs - yes. Well, I mean real folk songs not people with long hair strumming on a guitar. Except they’re so long I get three quarters of the way through and forget the next line and I get the different versions mixed up. Twas in the Merry month of May, when green buds they're a what? Swellin? Fallin? Growin? And Gilbert and Sullivan. We did that at school, surely I can remember - I am the very model of a modern Major- General, I’ve information vegetable, animal and mineral, I know the bla bla bla, from Marathon to Waterloo in order categorical. Perhaps not. Allons enfants de la Patrie, le jour de gloire est arrivé, contre nous de la tyrranie, l’étandard sanglant est levé. Yes, I know the French national anthem. Why do I know that? Haven’t a clue. Opera. I think I know some opera.
Vincero.. wel we all know that bit. Actually I do know something all the way through. Not being Scottish I know all the words to My Love is Like a Red Red Rose. It’s a great pity I’m totally tone deaf and incapable of singing anything in tune. They’re all in my head though.

I'm a gigging musician, so hundreds of songs. Maybe thousands if you include the original material I have worked on.
