Question for Lynyrd Skynyrd fans: Did you know two of that band's former members would have been 69 today?

Ed King, one of the band's early guitarists, was born on September 14, 1949. He left the band in 1976 and in one of rock's most remarkable non-coincidences he was replaced by Steve Gaines who was also born on September 14, 1949. Both those guys are now sadly deceased. Steve was killed in the band's plane crash on their 1977 tour, and Ed (who wasn't in the band when the plane crash happened) died this year. They still remain one of America's greatest rock bands ever.
