what do you listen to while you're studying?

Every person has little elves in thier brain that make your brain work
Some brain elves like certain types of music

Kraftwekr or Jarre for those moments of intense concentration

and since I'm a non scientific clown, I'll assume is the influence of ancient aliens...

strings can be disharmonious more easily, and more inclined to stir the emotions. Piano is a cool & cerebral sound, or at least more commonly it is. I like Bach, but Chopin is good too, for this.

I can't listen to music when I need to think.
