Who is a better singer?

You can't compare them. They don’t even sing the same genre OR decade.

That's like comparing apples to chicken.

You have to ask that question, Karen was the ultimate, a perfect singer with unpeccable annunciation, depth, range and class. The other person you speak of has an average voice at best, a product of commercialization, she often struts around like a slut and caters to a lost generation of thumbed down illiterate drones who wouldn't know a good singer if they heard one.

Karen Carpenter was about substance/virtue and also happened to have had a great voice. Beyoncé Knowles is a media fabrication who was created by a disgusting media/pop culture in order to destroy minds and mock virtue. An average talent given the false monicker of greatness by people who have no moral clarity or knowledge of music.

Not going to say who is better, but I prefer Karen Carpenter.
